Batter Mixer — Viscous & Thin Batter Mixing Machine
▌Product Description
The Meatech MT-BM batter mixer prepares consistent batter viscosity by blending dry batter mix with water through a purpose-built agitator, supplying the uniform batter required for downstream dipping, showering, or enrobing stages on a breading line. Two configurations cover the full batter viscosity range used in coated meat, poultry, and seafood production: the MT-BM-100V handles thick, high-viscosity batter such as tempura-style coatings, while the MT-BM-200T is built for thin, low-viscosity batter formulations.
The MT-BM-100V runs a programmed mixing cycle — high-speed blending followed by a low-speed holding phase, with an alarm signalling when the batch is due for replenishment — preventing the ingredient settling that causes viscosity drift over a production shift. Its jacketed mixing tank accepts ice or circulated coolant to hold batter temperature in the 10-20°C range, protecting batter quality during extended runs. A built-in output pump allows direct connection to a downstream batter dipping or enrobing machine, forming a continuous batter supply system rather than requiring manual transfer.
The MT-BM-200T uses a removable mixing drum that can be relocated for continuous mixing-and-replenishment production, with the drive motor mounted above the tank to keep it clear of the cleaning process and prevent water damage during washdown.

▌Solution Applications
Solution / Line | Role of the Machine |
Chicken Nuggets & Patty Line | Supplies viscosity-controlled batter to the batter dipping/enrobing stage upstream of breading and frying. Consistent viscosity is what determines coating pickup rate downstream, making the mixer's temperature and cycle control directly relevant to finished coating quality. |
Marinated & Ready-to-Cook Meat Line | MT-BM-200T thin batter mixer suited to light coating applications on marinated cuts before packaging or frying. |
Seafood & Tempura Product Line | MT-BM-100V viscous batter mixer matches tempura-style coating requirements for shrimp, fish, and vegetable tempura product lines. |
▌FAQ
Q: How do I choose between the viscous and thin batter mixer?
A: Match the machine to your recipe's target viscosity and product type — thick, tempura-style batters for nuggets and tempura products use the MT-BM-100V; thin, lighter batters use the MT-BM-200T. Meatech can confirm the right configuration based on your batter formulation at the quotation stage.
Q: Why does batter temperature control matter?
A: Uncontrolled batter temperature drifts across a production shift, changing viscosity and therefore coating pickup rate downstream. Jacketed cooling on the MT-BM-100V holds batter within a stable 10-20°C range for consistent coating from the first batch to the last.
